The first and still the most widely known church of the Reformed Church in Budapest is the Kálvin tér Reformed Church. The Reformed Church of Pest was founded in 1796, and in 1801 it requested land from Pest to build a church, and received it, on the site of the old cemetery on the southern side of the Széna market at the time. First, the church had a house of worship built, then a church designed by József Hofrichter between 1816 and 1830. (previous | next | back to album | 2022:09:06 10:02:47 | 13% of an album)
