Carharinakerk is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria. It is located in a central part of Catharinaplein. In the 13th century there was already a brick building, but it was not mentioned as Saint Catherine (Sancta Katarina) until 1340. At that time it was a branch of the St. Petrus parish in Woensel (filia). In 1399 its status was elevated to a collegiate church and additionally, it was the goal of pilgrimages.
