Welcome to London Victoria station, one of many London termini, for many people it is the first place they see in London. Why... well, there are direct trains to Gatwick Airport (Gatwick Express) and what is also important, a central bus station is nearby (for some buses you can also get off on some regular stops, as we did). The station is operated by Network Rail in terms of station management, but in terms of rail services, it's operated by Southerm (services to south London, Sussex and parts of east Surrey), Southeastern (to south east London and Kent) and of course Gatwick Express.
