Michaelerplatz, mostly known for its Roman excavations, on the northern side of the Hofburg. On the picture – Michaelkirche (Parish Church of St. Michael). It's one of the three parishes in Vienna in the 13th century, along with St. Stephen and the Schottenstift. The church is also one of the few Romanesque buildings in Vienna. It's been cared for by the Salvatorians since 1923. (previous | next | back to album | 2021:08:07 17:39:26 | 53% of an album)
