Fish Street Hill with the Monument to the Great Fire of London in the background. The monument that the Monument Tube station is named after (the station is BTW under the building on the right). The Great Fire of London started on 2 September 1666, around 60-70m from the monument. Constructed between 1671 and 1677, it was built on the site of St Margaret, New Fish Street, the first church to be destroyed by the Great Fire.
