Kardinal-Hengsbach-Platz, another square in the city center, just west of Essen Minster. After structural changes of the city in the second half of the 1920s Kurienplatz was created, which was officially named on 31 May 1930. It was named after the Harach'sche Kurie, a former residence of the Essen canonesses. In 1980 the square was redesigned. The city of Essen had the City River fountain system, which still exists today, built. (previous | next | back to album | 2022:06:05 19:57:18 | 31% of an album)
