Part 1 - Eindhoven

We have some pretty convenient and inexpensive flights to Eindhoven, so it's a nice city to use as a gateway to the Netherlands. The main company of the city used to be Philips (currently headquartered in Amsterdam), but now it is probably ASML (which was established mostly by Philips, but was spun off – so many companies that are now on the top of the world were established by Philips, that's actually quite interesting), although it is actually headquartered in the suburb of Eindhoven – Veldhoven.
