Day 1 – Chapter 4 – London Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark and City of London
Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark lie on the southern side of the river Thames. This is the borough where Clapham is (but Clapham Junction railway station is in Wandsworth) and it is on the edge of Inner London… yet, it has some parts of the central London inside: Waterloo railway station, London Eye, County Hall (the old city hall for all the London). London Borough of Southwark however, is a borough that has the most of the central London area south of the river. Globe Theatre, City Hall (the new one), Southwark Cathedral (duh) and London Bridge station are all in the borough, among others.
